Chicken Parmesan Calzone

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Cook frozen chicken tenders if using according to package directions, then cut into smaller pieces.
Prepare dough:
Lightly dust a clean surface with flour. Roll out pizza dough into a 12-inch circle, aiming for an even thickness.

Add sauce:
Spread 1/2 cup pizza sauce on one half of the dough circle, leaving 1-inch of margin at the edge.
Layer the fillings:
On the sauce half, layer 1 cup of shredded mozzarella, all of the parmesan, and the chicken slices, spreading them evenly.
Fold and seal the calzone:
Fold the bare half of the dough over the toppings, forming a half moon. Crimp the edges tightly to seal, using a fork or your fingers.
Prepare to bake:
Place the calzone on a greased baking sheet. Brush the top with melted butter, then make three 1/2-inch slits in the top to let steam escape.
First oven:
Bake for 20 minutes, then take it out to top with the remaining 1/4 cup pizza sauce and 1/2 cup mozzarella, staying away from the edges.
Second oven:
Return to the oven for another 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
Cool and serve:
Let it cool for 5 to 7 minutes before cutting. Serve warm, optionally with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
