Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Using kitchen shears, carefully cut through the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise, stopping at the tail, but do not cut through the bottom shell. Gently pry the shell open to expose the meat, leaving it attached at the base.
Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, melted butter, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to make the lemon garlic butter sauce.
Spoon the lemon garlic butter sauce evenly over the exposed lobster meat, allowing some to drip down into the shells.
Bake the lobster tails in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through, and the shells are bright red.
Once cooked, remove the lobster tails from the oven and let them cool slightly.
Serve the lemon garlic lobster tails hot, garnished with lemon wedges and additional melted butter on the side for dipping, if desired.
Enjoy your succulent lemon garlic lobster tails as a luxurious appetizer or main course!
This dish pairs wonderfully with a side of rice, roasted vegetables, or a crisp green salad.
