Ingredients
– 1/4 cup salted butter
– 4 cups plain Cheerios cereal
– 1/4 cup sugar
– 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
1. Start by melting that rich butter in a good ol’ skillet over medium heat. You’ll want the butter to get all foamy and fragrant, just before it starts to sing with little bubbles.
2. Now, pour those Cheerios in and give them a gentle stir to coat them evenly with the golden butter.
3. Cook ’em for about 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. You’re waiting for them to turn a lovely shade of gold and get nice and crispy. Patience is a virtue here – no rushing the goodness.
4. Once they’ve reached the peak of perfection, remove from heat.
5. Toss in sugar and cinnamon mixture, and serve!
